Open Volunteer positions

Social Media Manager

This position requires 1-2 years experience in content creation, content calendar management, content strategizing, hashtag research and implementation, trend watching, management of all social media accounts, engagement with followers and non-followers via comments and messages. *College degree preferred. Can substitute degree with 3-5 years experience.

Community Advocate

We are in search of volunteers who are interested in working with people, face-to-face, spreading our message, actively engaging with the community at events and other functions to build our reach. *No college degree required. Must be 18 to apply.

Volunteer Coordinator

This position requires recruiting skills, cold-calling, cold-emailing, community outreach, and event attendance as a recruiter. *No college degree required. Must be high school graduate/GED certified.

Donation Solicitor

This position requires the solicitation of donations by going, door-to-door, canning, and by visiting businesses to make requests. *No college degree required. High school students welcome with parent and school approval.

Grant Writer

This position requires a minimum of one year experience with writing grants and submitting grant applications. Position requires writing grants, grant research, grant application submissions, grant management, legal compliance. *Must have college degree.

Administrative Support

This position requires at least one year of experience with scheduling meetings, responding to emails in our main inbox, corresponding with volunteers, employees, and board members, and must provide other administrative functions as needed. *Must be high school graduate/GED certified.
